100,000 killed - no big deal.

1400 killed - red line crossed and war is needed.

Drones have decimated Al Qaeda....Except for Al Qaeda running the Syrian resistance Obama wants to arm.

Most "logical" thinking people do wonder why countries in Africa with utterly horrifying civil wars killing 100,000's have been largely ignored and even more millions dieing every year from starvation, while the Middle East is so important!

Of course the answer is clearly regional and resource control, oil and the Petrodollar.

Personally I don't mind the US controlling the Middle East, but its the "saving the people" bull**** I have a problem with, its very insulting.

The logic is more let's try to stop countries from using WMD's on their own populations and drones will kill a lot less innocent people than flying in bands of Seals to have firefights with enemy targets.

Perhaps you'd rather have our country not target Al Queda? Short memory? Time to put away the childish "everything Obama does is bad because he's Democrat" mentality. It's not like there aren't conservatives that don't agree with what he's suggesting that countries do to hold Syria accountable.

No objection here. The arbitrary line that has been crossed is idiotic.

When we(U.S. government) kills innocent people its "collateral" damage. When other people do it it's "terrorism" or "war crimes".

Its not americas problem to solve and whenever we try to do so our military kills innocent people in the process, making us no better.

The only country to ever use a real WMD against another is actually the USA!!

How about putting down the US flag for a moment, stand back and look at the world as a Human being not as a American.

How many countries has Iran or China invaded in the last 50 years? compared to the US? look t up!

The US is not evil, but its not some kind of hero either!

Drones are a precision weapon, chemical weapons are not. Drones are not against the international conventions for waging war.
