Does Ronald Reagan have a dark side?

Quote:
The conviction of former Guatemalan dictator Efrain Rios Montt on charges of genocide against Mayan villagers in the 1980s has a special meaning for Americans who idolize Ronald Reagan. It means that their hero was an accessory to one of the most grievous crimes that can be committed against humanity.

Reagan has lots of dark sides. So did George Bush, Bill Clinton, George W, and our current president.

That's a bit of a stretch. Wait, not a bit of a stretch... A long, thin, invisible, intangible, unrecognizable chain of tenuous assertions.

The liberals are getting desperate. Things are going so badly for them in 2013, that they have to go back more than 30 years and put together silly conspiracy theories about conservatives to divert people's attention from their own failing policies of today.

Have you not figured out a man's history of (in)action doesn't change when a new man takes office?

Read the forums, people still try to make Japan the victim and Harry Truman the monster when August rolls around.

Everyone who knows American history of the 1980s knows of Reagan's involvement against the Sandanista's in Nicaragua and the funding and training of para militaries all thru Central America that left a bloody trail of death in their wake. This is nothing new.

Then there was Iran Contra.
