The Huffington Post, usually a reliable shill for everything Obama
"Congress moved to undo large parts of the STOCK [Stop Trading On Congressional Knowledge] Act last week." This had been the law that was passed just a year ago, and which President Obama signed into law"
"The law - which had been pushed by progressive Democrats since 2006, and which finally became law on 4 April 2012 - required members of Congress and their staffs, and the Executive Branch, to avoid insider trading. Until this law was passed, buying or selling stock on the basis of insider information had been fully legal for these federal officials, but not for anyone else; and the STOCK Act was supposed to end that and prohibit political insiders from buying and selling stock on the basis of their privileged knowledge of upcoming legal changes.
The Obama administration is led by a grifter from the most corrupt city in the most corrupt state in the country, so this is hardly surprising.
Let's face it, though -- ALL politicians are dirty, so it's a given that all administrations are corrupt. But Obama used the media to build up a phony facade of "a Washington outsider", making millions believe that there really was something to "Hope and Change".
But now HuffPo is shatting on someone they normally coddled, so you KNOW the grifter is starting to annoy. And look what he did:
"The bill that Obama quietly signed into law on 15 April 2013 made the STOCK Act that he had signed the year before virtually unenforceable. Members of Congress can thus resume drawing a major part of their incomes from cheating outside investors, who don't know the things that these officials are privileged to know."
Like all of our elected officials, this guy is scum. Yes, I realize the Obamabots will be apoplectic when they read that, but any elected official who signs something like this is a disgrace. It's bad enough he and his wife -- and his two illegal immigrant relatives living illegally in the US -- have sucked up taxpayer dollars with the same enthusiasm as Barney Frank in a bath house, but now he feels the need to cheat outside investors?
As a country, we're too stupid to flush the toilet every election and vote the incumbents out. As a consequence, this is what we have to live with.
Sounds like that place should be a haven for conservatives, since most die hard pro americans believe are government can do no wrong against its own people

Believing that government can do no wrong against it's own people is extremely naive. Look at Syria. Assads way or you die.
Believing a president will do no harm against blacks because he is half black is also extremely naive.
I'm glad to see a rare occasion that someone is willing to hold a principled position.
