Tho IMHO Al Qaida doesn't really want to start much stuff here because too many of us have guns and WILL shoot back at ANYBODY who acts "Muslim", even the decent ones.
Paranoid much? Exactly what does "acting 'Muslim, even the decent ones' mean?

Of course they are. Un-wavering support of Israel and warocracy foreign policy in the middle east has made us an enemy of just about everyone. On top of that, politicians keep favoring a no-immigration law policy here at home, all for political reasons. So when an American-hating Islamist comes here and kills thousands of people... the smart people will know who is to blame, but the majority of people will just agree to start yet another war in some foreign country and give up even more of the rights that our forefathers fought in a revolution to preserve.

Ok boys and girls you can come out from under your beds now, leave a nightlight on if you are still scared.
All it takes is one good idea, no sense in letting our guard down.......some say we could be devastated by wildfires. If they start thinking smaller instead of planes, many ways to cost us $$$$$$!!! All the while our governement sends them more $$$$ to make plans on how to kill us,

We have caused much of this hate......we are surely not innocent in fueling their hatred.

Sure he does. Like he has Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Yemen (drones), Pakistan (drones) and possibly Iraq again. Syria is just a part of his master foreign policy international peace plan.

Well, in all fairness Obama did not say where al Qaeda was running too. Apparently they are running to the US where they will be warmly welcomed by Obama and the rest of the Democrats.
