Imagine the horror......dinner parties that are unregulated. Bloomy better get the gestapo to work on this and fast.......liberal insanity of full display here.
"The diners are a mix of New Yorkers and tourists. CBS 2’s undercover cameras captured one experience — eight people who didn’t know each other eating a meal in a stranger’s home. That hostess, Naama Shafi, writes about food but is not a chef. Leitner found her through a website, which connects amateur foodies and professional chefs in 20 different countries with people who want unique dining experiences.
Clandestine dinner parties like the one Leitner attended have become more common in New York City. And insiders told Leitner they are completely unregulated."
So all the savvy, street wise people in NYC are too stupid to choose their own soda size or attend an *gasp* unregulated supper club? Pretty soon they are going to need the government to hold their hands while they cross the street. I would love to see New Yorkers stand up in mass to their crazy nanny state, but so far they seem mostly willing to take it. Sadly.
Love the comment after the article:

Can't wait for next week's expose on homeowners who allow other people's children to come into their homes and play with the homeowner’s children, sometimes even allowing said children to eat their food or spend the night, all without a permit or daycare license.
These aren't dinner parties, they're little pop-up restaurants. I think they're tap-dancing through loopholes/lax regulations, but to be honest I don't really care.
Of course, when the inevitable case of food poisoning pops up...who's getting sued?
Its New York, what do I care? If it isn't Tennessee or Clarksville, its none of my business. Seems like the folks of New York have spoken, by electing a radically different mayor.

Such are the way things work in a democracy.
I care whenever someones personal freedom is violated.
