I think it is......Transgender nursing student Domaine Javier, was denied entry into California Baptist University in Riverside, CA.
The university, said the suit, “competes in the public marketplace to attract students regardless of their religious affiliation” and has accepted more than $100 million in public funds and hopes to receive $155 million more from government coffers in pursuit “of secular education.” Therefore, attorneys argued, CBU cannot claim religious exemption from the law.
As I expected, the bigots crawl out of their hiding places like cockroaches...This is a woman we are talking about, not a man....
Anti-discrimination laws in most U.S. cities and
states do not protect transgender people from
discrimination based on gender identity or gender
expression. Consequently, transgender people in
most cities and states face discrimination in nearly
every aspect of their lives. http://www.apa.org/topics/sexuality/transgender.pdf
Religious institutions are allowed to pick and choose who they want. The ONLY protected class is race. Now if Domaine claimed that the discrimination was racial, instead of the need to cut off he pee pee, then (s)he would have a case.
Sorry, you bigots lost in 1964. If you want to be *******s, then don't serve the public.
You got me wrong, I am not a liberal.
