What the hell is this president doing with the nation anyway? Is every branch of the federal government supposed to promote 0bama's political agenda???
Why is the US National Park Service, under their Multimedia Presentation, promoting LGBTQ Rights (A discussion about marriage rights), African American Women in the Suffrage Movement, and a three part video series on AnNur Islamic School?????
Wouldn't you expect there to be multimedia presentations on oh, I don't know..... maybe videos on THE PARKS?? hmm maybe at the bottom of the multimendia page they have a footnote that might lead to the national parks?? Nope! At the bottom of the page we see:
Did you know the women's rights movement formally began in the Wesleyan Chapel in Seneca Falls, New York? More...
Waste of money. We as taxpayers shouldn't be paying for this.
that is the problem with the bureaucrats and politicians which infect our government, its all a big play ground for them. We are $17 trillion in debt, and yet they waste our tax dollars on their own political or personal agendas??? The park service serves a specific function, and it's not to promote gay marriage or Islam.
If it does things outside of it's charge their budget should be reduced accordingly and reprimands given.
Those that direct these actions heads ought to roll.

They're referred to in your links as "tolerance" videos.
When you look at the specific job functions of the wide variety of state and national parks positions, spending money on developing and spending money on ensuring employees view these things makes no sense at all.
A long time ago I regretted going into recreation facility management instead of outdoor rec. For the past few years I'm glad that I didn't. Recreation at all levels (municipal, state, federal) is increasingly agenda driven as opposed to user (public) driven. I decided to take a break from the field a couple of years ago, and just can't bring myself to go back into it.

That is why our government spends us $17 trillion into debt, because we have bureaucrats who think money comes from a bottomless pit, and they should use the freaking park service to promote their own personal agendas with videos like these. They lose sight of the purpose and function of government.
I agree that it's a waste of money, but I think most of us have more important things to worry about.
