He'll never get the nomination, but he's likely to join the clown car and become the Herman Cain of 2016, generating interest among the terminally dumb. After he loses, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he resigns his seat in the senate. Being a "former senator and GOP presidential hopeful" would look like impressive credentials for right wing radio.

I can understand the confusion. A conservative finally having a backbone and doing whatever it takes to stand up in principle to the liberal madness can be a shock to the system.

Ted Cruz is a gift. Let's treat him as such.
Go Texas.

I agree he is a gift to the left. He makes the most looney lefty look sane.

If you call standing up and acting like an assclown then I guess you have a point. Other than that he accomplished nothing and voted for the very thing he said he was gong to filibuster and did not. All he got is what he wanted 21 hours of a camera on him doing his clown car routine.

And he makes the most conservative right winger look, well, no different than they already look. Like jackasses.

I hold to no party and am liberal on some things very conservative on others. But if I were from Texas I would have gotten out the big stage hook and pulled him off his soap box and saved what little respect if any Texas had left after that dismal display of the mentally ill. Harvard looks more like a degree mill than a ivy league college if this is what they produce. Man Clown college puts out better acts.
