Rising sea levels would be a huge problem, just saw this image:

5. IPCC-Report: Stockholm erklärt das neue Klima - SPIEGEL ONLINE - Wissenschaft

It doesn't say how much of a rise they used for that simulation, but it looks scary. Poland, the Northern half of Germany and many other regions would be under water, including my current city
London would be lost as well...

What about more available land? What if Sahara was no longer a desert?

I don't think they want tens of millions of white people moving to Africa Plus, even if there were water, they probably lack the soil to grow food on a grand scale, sand is not good enough.
