Did anyone see Ted Cruz on MEET THE PRESS on NBC on Sunday?

I was told by my friends and relatives that Red Cruz was an idiot and so terrible and will destroy America, so I decided to check him out. I am a liberal Democrat.

I had never seen him talk for a long time and wanted to size him up and see what he was all about. After watching him I did not agree with his political beliefs but found him very charismatic, well spoken, and likable. I found him very impressive. He basically destroyed the Meet the Press Host.

Any one else impressed with Ted Cruz after watching him on MEET THE PRESS even though you may not agree with his political beliefs?

(I understand he is on the top of the latest polls for the Republicans choice for President in the next election)

LOL...please. David Gregory blew Cruz's platitudes to shreds. He didn't say a damn thing new or profound.

Is he a good speaker and does he come across well? Sure. He's bright and articulate....and he actually exudes a healthy bit of optimism even if what he's saying is a bunch trite nonsense.

I mean, he IS a Texas Republican Tea Party hack so it's not like you couldn't predict what he was gonna get on the microphone and say almost to the letter.

Didn't watch but he is no dummy. I suspect he'd run intellectual circles around Obama in a debate.

Why would he debate obama? I seen him debate. Hes great because he has no political track record...he can always be on the attack. He can always point out his opponets shortcommings.

Cruz is a floater, No legislation to defend.

No political track record? You obviously are woefully uniformed.

Texas Republican Tea Party hack happens to be an accurate description. What? You thought he was something else?

Right. Obama is the president because he got intellectual circles ran around him routinely during 2 election cycles by the likes of people such as Ted Cruz.

Wow Edward...how long did it take you to come up with that one?
