Indeed.

He will destroy any possibility that the 2016 Republican Presidential nominee will be a 72-year-old Congressman from New York with a mere 75% lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union and who has been endorsed in his Congressional elections by the Brady Campaign.

On the other side, insiders estimate about 30 House Republicans believe strongly that Obamacare is such a far-reaching and harmful law that the GOP should do everything it can--everything--to stop it or slow it down.

Another 20 to 30 GOP members sympathize with that position but might be willing to compromise, except for the fact that they fear a primary challenge from the Right.

In the continuing resolution fight, it is the 30 most committed members, along with their 20-30 allies in the next-most-committed group, who are setting the House Republican agenda. The ones pushing for a fight over Obamacare, even if it leads to a shutdown, are controlling what the House does."

It's time for those 175 GOP House members to stand up and be heard.

Yes, they should just fund the government and try to win the political fight against the new health care law at the ballot box.

Speaking of lemmings:

"Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) had choice words for fellow House Republicans who are willing to see the government shut down over their opposition to Obamacare: “Lemmings with suicide vests,” he called them.

“They have to be more than just a lemming. Because jumping to your death is not enough,” he said.

“You have this group saying somehow if you’re not with them, you’re with Obamcare. If you’re not with their plan--exactly what they want to do--you’re with Obamcare. It’s getting a little old,” he said."

Nunes calls colleagues 'Lemmings with suicide vests'

Looks like the House Conservative's wall of obstruction is starting to crack.

Actually, it's known as having a big tent party that permits open discourse and dissent. Something you leftists wouldn't know about anymore.

You all think alike and if someone disagrees with your ideology, they are blacklisted. Just ask Joe Lieberman and Bob Casey. The Democrat Party is the largest personality cult in America, maybe the world. It's a bunch of sheep.

It's an easy comparison in this case... after all Islam is a conservative right wing ideology. But just for your information, both sects (Sunni and Shi'a) are actually mainstream Muslims. There is nothing automatically extremist about either.

But if you want that comparison, okay.... here it is. The mainstream Republicans are equivalent to the mainstream Muslims. The Tea Party is equivalent to the Taliban.

Conservatives seem to think that. But like usual, they're just setting up straw men out of ignorance. Liberals do not support Islamic extremists any more than we support Christian extremists or Hindu extremists. We do however support the First Amendment to the Constitution which I can only assume is a problem for you.

Alas... the difference is that on the left, we don't excommunicate our dissenters and declare jihad on them.

Another parallel between the Tea Party and the Taliban.

I love it. "The mile-wide schism in our party is a strength, not a weakness!"

Well, that is a confusing conundrum. Because I just got 900+ hits on the the search term "RINO", yet here you are assuring me that the term is practically meaningless. It even appears that somebody stole your login and called Romney a RINO a while back. Strange...

2 bills sent to the Senate.
each with compromises
Harry Reid doesn't want to bring them to the floor, without his personal amendment and his amendment only.
