According to manta, the store did $5-$10 Million in gross sales per year. That works out to be from $13698 to $27397 in daily sales. So with these type of daily sales, one has to wonder how many deposits were made in the $9000 area to throw up a red flag compared to other businesses in the same field. Plus with only $35k in the account, its a little odd to have only maybe three days of receipts in the corporate acct based only on one store.

It is funny to watch the cons try to blame the Democrats when it is their own people who created and supported the law.

Exactly! If the cons have a problem with it, let the republican majority House do something about it instead of continuing to terrorize our country!

My guess a good portion is from credit and debit card. Also, all the IRS had to do is put a withdraw hold for a few days while an IRS agent looked over his books to see if the deposits are legit.

I agree... the story smells fishy... I don't make anywhere close to that and all the deposits have always been less than 10k... I can't even imagine getting a 10k deposit...

I understand that the IRS has a law they are working under which allows forfeiture.

However, unless the man had been warned and was a habitual offender, wouldn't the prudent course have been to just fine him first?

Yes, this is what happens when the conservative love for an authoritarian government pursuing a war on drugs runs smack dab into their hatred of the IRS and the black man in the White House.

What's even funnier is that some people are so dumb that they think these are partisan issues!
