Tom Waschura, an independent who voted twice for Barack Obama, told the San Jose Mercury News on the day he learned his family of four would pay nearly $10,000 more for health insurance in 2014 in order for his policy to "conform to all the requirements of the new health care law."

He must have had one crappy policy to begin with. I would be able to save nearly $7000 per year if I were to choose a bronze, high deductible plan instead of the plan my employer offers (but pays nothing for).
