Top Internal Revenue Service Obamacare official Sarah Hall Ingram discussed confidential taxpayer information with senior Obama White House officials, according to 2012 emails obtained by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and provided to The Daily Caller.

Lois Lerner, then head of the IRS Tax Exempt Organizations division, also received an email alongside White House officials that contained confidential information.

In the real world, Lois should be in prison. No wonder she wanted to take the 5th. These scumbags always get away with the crap they do.

While the profiling that the IRS engaged in is clearly wrong, as to this Daily Caller story, I would think that we'd need to know more about it than we currently do. When Issa gets his unredacted copies of the e-mails, we'll be in a better decision to judge. Right now, a rush to judgment seems premature.

I won't argue with that. Nothing wrong with wanting to see other sources of information. One has to start somewhere though.

I agree.
The sad thing is that we see 1 misstep after another and now it has become very easy to believe the worst.

There's not enough to make a call. So far the redacted memos (read them at the link) just show that Ingram attempted to counsel the White House on a lawsuit from religious organizations opposing Obamacare’s contraception mandate. The documents contain the redacted name of a religious organization that was party to the lawsuit. No evidence from these documents that confidential info was exchanged.
