We have seen our country turn into a police state since 9/11 with the laws which circumvent the Constitutions Bill of Rights.
You have a better chance of being hit by lightning than to die in a terrorist attack, and yet we have these draconian laws which lower our standard of living, nullify our rights, and are creating a police state.

Why don't we start with ending our policy of policing the world so there will no longer be any perceived need for the Patriot Act?

Obama had the chance to do this but decided he would use and enhance it.

Government will never do anything to reduce itself, the only way to restore sanity to this situation is for the public to demand action.

Amen to that, that's the lesson of history.

It's not only time, it's overdue.

What does it help?

Not asking to argue, just wondering what the people who support it are thinking.
