As I'm looking forward to the hypocrisy of your defending those who say "government does NOTHING right" when their "NOTHING" is applied ONLY when they choose to do so.
500,000 people have already enrolled. The Oregon plan has already dropped that state's number of uninsured by 10%.
That's in 3 weeks.
I hope the GOP has prepared a huge plate of crow. By the way, all indications are that the House will be in Democratic hands after next year's election. So whatever is wrong with ACA will be fixed very shortly without GOP interference. Meanwhile, more and more people are discovering that yes, they can have insurance and at a reasonable price. Suddenly they can afford their medications, afford to see a doctor, stop living in pain and fear of a diagnosis that could ruin them. And the name of the person they should thank is right on the cover -- Obamacare.
Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz put it into perspective in the Sun Sentinel on Sunday, “problems, glitches, obstacles” are inevitable with a complex new system. “That happens with apps when they’re released all the time and tech companies don’t just decide to scrap the whole plan. What do they do? They upload version 2 and version 3 with bug fixes, and we don’t all raise holy hell over the fact that there were a few bugs in a new app that was released.”
The issue is with the current issues if they aren't remedied will prevent the 7 million needed to enroll in general and the 2.8 million who need to be healthy young people to subsidize the older people who are enrolling because it is finally affordable to get insurance (or a more affordable form.)
There are centers where you can go to enroll.
You can enroll over the telephone.
As for who is subsidizing older people - no one. Their monthly premium for a 50 year old could be between $600 to over $1,000 depending on the plan they sign up for under Obamacare. They are also a larger population than the younger people who will be paying higher premiums. As for senior citizens, they have been paying for Medicare since they enrolled for SS. Many seniors have a supplemental policy or a prescription policy that they pay for because Medicare is pretty basic.
Insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, children who remain on their parents insurance until the age of 26, a family who could never afford insurance and buy the cheapest plan under Obamacare, are the beneficiaries of Obamacare.
Back in the day Blackberry's were the hip thing. Everybody wanted one and all they had were connectivity issues among other things problems synching with outlook etc. Guess what happened............folks wen't and got better phones. Now if Blackberry could have forced us to use their garbage product like obamacare is...........well you get the point.

Thanks for calling it that, GOP.
So there were what was the number being brayed all over 40 million without healthcare. That means only 39.5 million to go. lol
Not to mention all the folks who paid for private insurance on their own who are receiving cancellation notices. I guess they don't count.
Its like saying that the new widget has failed because the doors of Walmart have been pushed in and people are running to the empty the shelf. Why not give it a few years to be fully implemented and then say what it is and is not? You on the far right want it to fail so bad you will see it as such no mater what it does. It could offer eternal life for a dime and you would whine about it. Its getting old hearing how Obama can not do anything right no mater what he does. Its no different than those on the far left who think he walks on water and healed the blind with just a touch. Give it a rest.
I think Cecily Strong - the new co-host of Saturday Night Live's news sketch, Weekend update - said it very well;

You can’t campaign on the fact that millions don’t have healthcare and then be surprised that millions don’t have healthcare. How could you not be ready? That’s like 1-800-FLOWERS getting caught off guard by Valentine’s Day.
We can choose to get a different operatong system. If we do that the government fines us. Do you not see the difference? A company in the private sector as inept as this goes out of business........the government will punish us.
