In The News: Health Care | Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation

The fiscally conservative Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation has called Romneycare “a well thought-out piece of legislation.” Its sharpest critics, the group noted, are from out of state or single-payer advocates on the left.

Romneycare and Obamacare | Providence Journal

If Romney had rolled it out nation wide, Republicans would've been slobbering all over it.

And for those who don't care to read the article, why yes, Obama's plan is MORE conservative than Mitt's was. Ain't that a hoot?

If, in fact, "romneycare" and "obamacare" are identical, how come it is that romneycare seems to be working well in Mass., but obamacare apparently does NOT work, right from the get-go?
Seems like there MUST be differences!
seems to me, romney did it right, and obama/pelosi/baucus screwed it up big time!

Romney's plan was and still is a state healthcare plan, the state has the right to do that. The Federal gov. implementing a similar plan for all states is quite different. People who act like there's no different do so out of ignorance.

Those people are idiots, though, unlike you or me. We understand it is different. And, as the poster above probably noted from the article, Romneycare wasn't smooth and had to be tweaked. From what they wrote, you might assume they didn't read that part. That's just crazy thinking. Everyone here reads the links before they post.

If Romney was president then I bet you that we would have a much better health care option right now, one that actually works. Obama is an incompetent President.

Instead of targeting the people who need insurance Obama blew up the whole entire system.

A crappy website does not mean a law wont work. In 7 years, tea party leftovers will be marching with signs, that say "keep your government hands off my Obamacare"..Just watch. Conservative Lord Cruz already said as much.

Say what? You.have.got.to.be.kidding. The Romney Care Massachusetts plan is exactly the model for Obama care. They are one and the same.

Of course, there is always the chance that the next administration will work to repeal or severely modify obamacare.
