The Point of No Return | The Weekly Standard

The Point of No Return
President Obama is about to play defense, for three years.

Quote:
President Obama is facing the abyss. It’s that moment when a president’s plans are overwhelmed by his problems, and he’s relegated to playing defense for the rest of his White House term. Obama’s agenda already lingers near death. His poll numbers have slipped to new lows. His speeches are full of alibis and accusations.

The man will simply be remembered as the worst president in American history.
Jimmy Carter thanks his lucky stars every day that Obama came along.
By the time this tool of a president is done, we'll be over $20,000,000,000,000 in debt and 10 million people who had full-time jobs the day he took office will either (still) be completely out of work or working part-time.
Yet, there will still be morons who'll be supporting him, because to not do so is to admit to those evil righties that they were wrong. They'd sooner see the country crumble than to admit that.
The only thing that will be a positive is that there's no damn way another leftist will get elected for a while. Hillary will have to run against whatever RINO the GOP decide to run AND Obama's abysmal record. She can't possibly win telling everyone that she'll continue the same Marxist policies that have virtually shut down growth in the economy.
And, after the thick headed slobs who are cheering on Obamacare get a load of what they'll have to pay each month for a crap policy with a $5,000 (more in many cases) deductible, I'm guessing even some of them will be ready for some "hope and change"...

Hillary is a leftist?
As for the rest of your post you should be very happy with this news.
Maybe people would be more likely to engage you if you left out all the name calling. Name calling should stop by age 11........13 at the latest. You and a lot of right wing types on here start calling people names before they even have a chance to respond to you. It makes the mature among us question your true motives.

Are you implying the left-wingers here don't name call? Does "American Taliban" sound familiar?

The {D}s are going too have a hard time firing up their base with some having higher cost and others having their 2013 tax returns reduced. And face a mountain of trouble in 2016 when those fines have escalated upwards even more.

The empty suit, or empty promise president. Folks had high hopes. Unless they set the bar extremely low, this man was a big disappointment. He did accomplish one objective though... He's completely polarized and divided the nation. We have never been at each others throats like this in many decades. Good job Obama. I hope you're happy

Divide and conquer.

Which reminds me I also need to stock up on whoppers and junior mints. The shut down was just the coming attractions to the main event which begins in January.

I'm not implying that. The anger from the right is worse on here. It simply is........and you know it.
