When they were working on the fiscal cliff Joe Biden "negotiated" and that is why taxes were increased on $400k instead of $200k. Obama and the democrats were not happy about that so they made him take a time out.

Well I know some of the stimulus went to the tea party darling Rick Perry to plug the budget holes in Texas. I'm sure most every Republican governor knows exactly where some of the stimulus money went.
When a prominent figure lays low, I would guess it's some sort of emergency in the family which they are trying to deal with. Or something like that.
