If you want to call deception, back it up. Show a link showing it increased, or at least do as the other poster did, and at least attribute a possible cause.

Or even better...show how many MORE contractors there are today then at another point in time.

Funny how the facts don't seem to match with conservative talking points...most of the time. How do the posters here seem to mix absolute self-confidence with complete cluelessness. Like a flock of Palins.

Compelled to labor for the benefit of another, whether full time or part time is still involuntary servitude.

Oh, right, FICA / Socialist InSecurity is 100% voluntary.

My bad.
“The Social Security Act does not require an individual to have a Social Security Number (SSN) to live and work within the United States, nor does it require an SSN simply for the purpose of having one...”

You do understand what "non sequitur" means, right? The precise number of stated employees ( and how that definition can be altered to adjust the numbers) has absolutely NO relevance to the cost of government, the cost of regulation, or the impact on people's lives and prosperity.

"Big government" is big precisely because its effect on the nation and the individual is very large.

Funny how you have wholly irrational premises for your arguments. Always.

Fact is, the federal government continues to deficit spend and exert more influence in our lives than ever before.
Weather statistically true or not, the amount of workers it employs to accomplish such deeds is moot.
