But this isn't really a partisan issue (and I do not mean to sound like I am apologizing for any of Obama's multifarious screw-ups, or those of his administration...I detest Dems just as I do Repubs)...regardless of party, most of what comes out of the mouth of any residential candidate is empty rhetoric, slogans rather than concepts, and promises that they will never be able to keep (and often have no intention of keeping.)

I don't see how anyone should be surprised by this.

Doesn't matter who's running for office. This kind of thing is par for the course.
