“…the complete pesticide formulations as sold and used also contain additives (adjuvants), which increase the pest- or weedkilling activity of the pesticide. “This is a serious defect of the regulatory process, according to a newly published study by the team of Professor Séralini (Mesnage et al. 2014, Biomedical Research International). The study found that for eight major pesticides (out of a total of nine analyzed), the commercial formulation is up to 1000 times more toxic than the active ingredient assessed for safety by regulators.”

“The study was carried out in vitro on three types of human cells.”

Why don't we just label foods that do not use GMO? That way you would know that whatever you pick up would be "safe". I mean, if labeling is no big deal how come the organic food people don't label all their stuff?

Have you ever had a "moment"?

"It isn’t just a declaration on the whim of a few city council members. There is a warrant added: “It shall be unlawful for any law or regulation adopted by the state or federal government to interfere with the rights recognized by this Ordinance.” This means that federal interference is prohibited in our food supply – at least in Maine. If you can’t get Monsanto out of the government, take the government out of your food. - See more at: The Power of Local Unity: Small US Town Enacts Free Food Trade « Just Wondering - Alternative News and Opinions Just Wondering – Alternative News and Opinions
