Obama will say we can keep our "substandard" plans we can keep them. First lie, insurance plans are already heavily regulated and they are not substandard.
Fred Uptons (republican) bill will be voted on tomorrow, same bill. Obama is trying to get in front of it.
Will American citizens be dumb enough to fall for another political spin. The damage is done.
Democrats will fall for it. Republicans will cry that it's the end of the world. Independents won't fall for it but will be turned off by the Republicans' unneeded desperation.

Democrtas will not fall for it, they will know he is a liar and accept his lies in the name of politics

I think some of them are still able to convince themselves that he doesn't lie and is above politics. It takes some pretty strong delusion, yes, but they are in love.

What is a substandard plan...and why would Obama say you can keep it? Where is your link to the story..or is just your opinion?
This will toss it back on the insurers. They wanted out of many of these policies and the ACA was a convenient scapegoat to deflect criticism from them. I don't know that the insurers will be forced to issue these policies again, I doubt it. And is it even legal to force insurers to sell and administer policies that they do not want to sell? It remains to be seen therefore how many will actually do so. The genie is going to be hard to put back in the bottle at this stage.

Yep Obama lied , millions are losing their insurance because of that lie .You do not try to put the genie back into the bottle, you repeal the whole thing its a bad law
Insurance companies have already cancelled millions of Americans' plans.
Why does anyone think they will they reinstate them, when the government keeps changing its policies every five minutes depending on who's complaining the most right now?
If Obama starts his speech with "Good Morning" …… I'm heading outside to see if the sun has set while I wasn't watching. Why would anyone believe anything at all that he might say at this point?
I feel confident that no President can sign an Executive order to force a private industry to follow his orders, or sign an Executive Order to give a "subsidy" to anyone. He has already called these Insurance companies "Bad Apples" - he is going to back down from that?
It will interesting to see what kind of new Fairy Dust he is proposing to sprinkle on his latest Debacle -- it will have to be a Legislative 'fix' and there is a lot of doubt that can even be done in the short term. Those 5 Million Private Policies (which cover a lot more than 5 Million people) are already cancelled due to the ObamaCare LAW - those are now extinct contracts, they can't just be brought back to life by Presidential Decree.
