This thread is so refreshing. I really wish he would have been elected. I think he was our last chance to save the course of this ship. I will back Gary Johnson in 2016.

No he would not. And that's the truth. People might not like him but he never sugar coated anything.

It has nothing to do with lying.

Paul may very well believe he could do all the things he wants if he had the support of congress. The problem is, he wouldnt even if he did have their support.

I would have loved to have seen a war between the president and three million bureaucrats.

Its sad they want to be lied to, and when you tell them the truth they attack you.

a statesmen who is elected to office is by definition a politician.

i.e. All elected statesmen are politicians, not all politicians are statesmen.

Me not liking it is irrelevant. The links state the problems the courts found with it. You can try again.

Your argument that not doing it at all would be best would again, only be best in a utopia where terrorist magically stopped hating us the second we stopped using drones, that isnt going to happen in the real world and that is problem with the argument you are trying to make.
Making it worse is certainly not the answer. You are arguing that the guy that has smoked two packs a day and gets cancer should just go ahead and keep on smoking because you can't prove it was the smoking that caused the cancer.
