That is the latest movement led by Christians, the immoral anti gay rights movement....Basically it seems to me that in general Christians should just bundle them all together and call it the anti human progress movement.

Did you know that there are eight states that by law ban atheists from running for public office...How moral is that?

By definition, un(in)alienable rights are unable to be taken away from or given away by the possessor.

Care to guess again?

Fine with me, as long as you don't try to turn your book of fairytales into U.S. law.

Harrier is being consistent - you are not.

Harrier said that rights come from a source outside human beings(God or nature - take your pick).

You are the one who said that they come from people.

Of course unalienable rights have been denied throughout the course of history.

What do you think the American Revolution was about?

King George III trampled on the rights of the colonists, and they reacted by overthrowing his rule and implementing a government that would secure those rights, which is the sole purpose of government, by the way.

Now, what was it that you were trying to say?
Wow.

That was epic weaseling, better even that I expected. Well done!

A denial of a right is not the same as losing that right.

A right is something that a person has a claim upon, no matter what other circumstances may ensue.

A person who is denied the right to vote, for instance, still retains that right, despite the act of fallible human beings(usually Democrats).

The bible tells you how to treat your slaves. And many people wanting to keep slavery used the bible to justify slavery.

Harrier stated the truth and he exposed your dishonest tactics.

Your blatant attempt at mischaracterization FAILS.

Christians not only supported, but were the facilitators of abolition, women's suffrage, and civil rights.

Deal with that.
That wasn't that long after they killed the Indians and stole their land, was it...?

They have NOTHING to do with each other.

Harrier disagrees that a right is only asserted if it is denied(do you only vote when you not allowed? ).

However, the bolded is well stated and spot on.
