I think US media needs more self-criticism. If she worked for FOX, she'd be getting a reward for the false story.

I'm going to throw out my own "conspiracy theory" here and assert that the CIA planted a patsy out there that would eventually attract the attention of a journalist in order to put forth their version of a "factual" story, that would then in turn be discredited due to credibility problems with the patsy. The ultimate outcome being what we see here, which is a discredited story leading to a discredited journalist.

Its part of the playbook. It's been done before by the CIA. Many times actually. I don't discount that notion here, as well.

Great theory but no facts, they did not perform their due-diligence in checking out their source. Very poor journalism of you wan tot call it that, must be really painful to hear that one of the star witnesses is a liar.

Obviously you didn't learn anything from 60 minutes mistakes, opinions like yours are one thing facts are a another story.

Oh they have a book in the library indicating that the CIA set up 60 minutes I didn't know, is it in the fiction section.

A month ago the Tea Partiers loved Lara and 60 minutes. Now they are back to being socialists and communist sympathizers. Oh wait that went out a few years ago. Now the geezers call them Obamnuts or anything else they can think of.
