"As a private investigator, Mr. McFarlin argues the document the White House issued to
end this never-ending flap is suspect.
How’s so?
He claims the term “African-American” appears on the line for race on the birth certificate and Mr. McFarlin says at the time Mr. Obama was born the term was not in use. He argues the term should have been “Negro.”
McFarlin must not be a very competent private investigator because it does not say "african-american"! it says "african". race was self reporting and the contemporaneous kenyan census lists "african" as a race option:

clinton's campaign never endorsed birtherism. the PUMAs ( party unity my ass ), a small group of hillary supporters, were the ones to embrace it ( and are often mistakenly credited for starting birtherism ).

Irrelevant, or at last that has been the position of most Democrats up to now. In 2008 John McCain had a couple of lawyers look into the birtherism claims, and they concluded that it would have been difficult for Obama to go back in time, and plant the announcement of his birth in a Hawaii newspaper.
All other serious Republicans fell in line and dismissed birtherism. Yet because a few fringe crackpots like Trump kept it going, Democrats portrayed that as representative of the whole party. Same principle applies here. This McFarlin must be representative of Democrats as a whole.
If I could keep a straight face and get rich off a bunch of gullible idiots for almost no work, I would try it.
I'm sorry, but Barack Obama has beat you to the punch.
