Most of the previous ~50 interglacial periods since the ice-age began 2.588 million years ago have lasted between 10 and 20 thousand years. This current interglacial period has lasted 11,400 years.

Current CO2 levels are far below what they have been historically, and well below what plants need to thrive. Ideally, CO2 levels should be anywhere from 800 ppm to 1,200 ppm for plants. Or, about two to three times higher than current levels.

When this interglacial period ends the snow and ice will once again creep down from the poles and about one third of the North American continent will be covered in ice. So either our technology will need to seriously improve to increase the carry capacity of the planet, or a lot of people are going to die.
This is very likely true and if there is anything we can do to forstall it, we should be doubling down on it.

We should indeed be trying to adapt to climate changes. It is the only way we, as a species, can survive. However, the Global Warming scammers are adamantly opposed to adapting. Their government inspired solution is to pretend that we do not exist by "reducing our carbon footprint."

Your local experience does not necessarily indicate global changes. The weather is more complicated than that. Besides, do you have a history of numbers to validate your "experience"?

The Little Ice Age ended neighborhood 1850, more or less, depending whom you believe. So yes since that time to earth has warmed.

The sunspot cyle tells us we are entering cooler times.

Both precession cycles (north polar and that of the equinoxes) tell us we are entering cooler times.

Enjoy your warming in your small part of the world while you can. But stock up on winter clothing. Or get ready to move

Since around 1880 there has been cyclic global cooling and warming trends over a 30 to 35 year period.

From ~1880 to ~1915 there was a global cooling trend.
From ~1915 to ~1945 there was a global warming trend.
From ~1945 to ~1980 there was a global cooling trend.
From ~1980 to ~2010 there was a global warming trend.

If the trend continues as it has for the last ~130 years, then from ~2010 to ~2040 or ~2045 there should be another global cooling trend.

All I know is that there were no real hurricanes this year. That is good. Don't know if the reason was global warming, or the absence of it.

You may be right. Perhaps loading the atmosphere with CO2 is a good thing and might just delay the coming glacial period...It does appear to be very close, and the present rise in CO2 appears not a lot different than that which preceded past glacial periods. http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/paleo/abrupt/data2.html

At least in the Atlantic. I wager those living on the coast of the Pacific wish they could say the same thing. Even still, when taking the following oceans into consideration:
  • The Atlantic Ocean;
  • The Eastern Pacific;
  • The Western Pacific;
  • The Indian Ocean; and
  • The Southern Hemisphere
The Accumulative Cyclone Energy (ACE) data shows that there was a minimum in the late 1970s, a maximum during the early 1990s, and another minimum around 2011. This is consistent with the 30 to 35 year warming/cooling trends.

The typhoon that hit the Philippines wasn't real?
Well, I'll be damned!
You DO know that a typhoon IS a hurricane, right?
