Good. Even as a "leftie" I never liked him. If MSNBC had any balls they would have fired him.

"Just over two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir delivered a harsh piece of commentary that culminated in the suggestion that someone should sh*t in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin‘s (R-AK) mouth. Bashir offered an abject apology on his next broadcast, but a chorus of critics continued to demand action against the host. After a reported “vacation” for the host earlier this week, Bashir announced, Wednesday afternoon, that MSNBC and Martin Bashir are parting ways."

Default About time...

It was a matter of time, I thought. We all talk smack, maybe not as vile as that, but we all do it, you just should not do it on a live microphone, much less on camera! I think Matt Lauer had something to do with it as well... he was pissed that his interview with Sarah Palin at her Alaska residence was canned. He'll go to CNN.

Good. Too bad he wasn't fired. Instead he comes out looking better than he should because this looks like it was his decision to leave and how he's feeling remorseful. When in reality, he should have been canned, if NBC News had any real journalistic values.

Good. The few times I caught his show, he seemed like a liberal Glenn Beck

Maybe Martin can get a job as caretaker at Neverland Ranch.

Glad this clown won't be on the air anymore -- he was so full of himself that he gained twenty pounds in the last year.

To all you people saying "good, he should have been fired" I would just like to know, how can you call yourself a Conservative? You apparently don't support free speech. What Bashir said was comical to me. Who cares. It showed what an unprofessional dunce he was.
