Without anyone realizing, all mainstream efforts to kill the health law have disappeared. Here's what it all means

Now that it’s December, Republicans are facing accelerating enrollment across the country and a thinning calendar. Healthcare.gov is much improved and still improving, and the House is set to adjourn on December 13 for the remainder of the year. When it returns, the hundreds of thousands of people who’ve already successfully enrolled will actually be insured, and their ranks will be swelling.

R.I.P. Obamacare repeal movement: Crusade is officially dead - Salon.com
That will not stop the 24/7 lies, misinformation and propaganda machine from pumping out the BS, but the right wing will have to find something else to rant about. Maybe revive BENGHAZI or the IRS non- scandal.

I think it is pretty clear that the Repeal Movement died with the shutdown, as the days leading up to the shutdown was the last gasp effort at repeal. That was the whole point.

Thank you for stating the obvious??

LOL, yeah back to benghazi for a bit. That ones going to stay on the fire for a while as they try and find some way to smear Clinton with it. 2016 is going to be a massively negative presidential race again I suspect.

Kind of bold there in the defense of dishonorable men.

Aww, and I was so looking forward to hearing Cruz read Hop on Pop for 21 hours in January. Sigh, back to the old classics of Benghazi and the birth certificate, I guess...

Of course they backed off of repeal, nobody expected Obamacare to fail so spectacularly so quickly:

"Never Interfere With an Enemy While He’s in the Process of Destroying Himself"

Obamacare has become the gift that keeps on giving to the Republicans.

You do realize they are not covered just by signing up unless they signed up for medicaid. They have to pay the first premium to start coverage and if they miss a payment they lose coverage. But you did know that right? So theres less than 20 business days left to sign up, get the info from insurance company, and pay that premium.

Wasn't the House preparing a real bill to reform the ACA? It would be nice to see the GOP try to lead for once instead of fear-mongering and opposing at any cost.

A.) The party faithful opposite the current POTUS are always always always making up BS, ranting, raving, demonizing, making ridiculous accusations, spinning out conspiracy theories and just generally acting like idiots. Have you forgotten what liberals acted like during George W Bush's presidency? How many high profile Hollywood films have been specifically dedicated to the outright character assassination of George W? Do you think there will ever be so many about Obama? Truth is, the Dems are way better at losing their minds attacking a standing Republican president than the reverse. Republicans a far less creative. They tend to only attack on things that actually happened. And to be honest, their lack of extreme dishonesty in this department is probably working against them. Americans actually pay attention to things when it's really and truly shocking. If a Republican POTUS had overseen Benghazi, the Dems would be spinning theories that all US personale killed were actually being intentionally assassinated by the GOP to cover up some oil grabbing government conspiracy, all secretly paid for by the Koch brothers. That sort of thing.

B.) At this point, the GOP just needs to let the Dems own Obamacare. It's the Democrats train wreck. Not a single Republican voted for it. Some of their claims may be exaggerated, but the Affordable Care Act is already an impossible mess and we're only getting started. When the feces hits the fan, the GOP can stand up and say, "We tried." And if by some miracle, the ACA comes off smelling like roses then the Dems get all the bragging rights.

Yep, it will only cost this much!

Yep, obamacare negotiations will be transparent!

Senator Obama charged if Hillary was elected she would pass healthcare by nuclear option and if elected he would never do that as he would lose his ability to lead.

Yep, you can keep your doctor.PERIOD

Everyone will realize a 2,500$$ drop in insurance cost.

Yep, the database is ready for rollout Oct 1st!

Yep, Dec 1st and the dadabase is 'improved'. Same could have been said November 1st.

Yep, it will create competition.

Yep, With a 3 year gestation period the database that was promised to be up and running Oct 1st wasn't even completed.

Lies and misinformation needed to convince people of the gift Obamacare that would be.

Do you not see the humor, or sadness, in the original post?
Are you conscious?

The greatest obamacare mystery will be how the president's namesake legislation can incubate for 3 years and he be so oblivious to its status and the catastrophe that was rolledout Oct 1st.

Incompetence cannot come close to explain how the president's namesake legislation was such a cosmic disaster. Was Obama not the least bit curious? If Obama was not even curious about such an historic piece of legislation, how close has he been involved in other important issues such as the economy and jobs?

The foundation of lies, backroom deals and secrecy that formed obamacare's foundation leads one to believe the only foreseeable outcome can be an implosion but not before it devestates millions of American families.
