Benjamin Franklin once said the only way three people can keep a secret is if two of them are dead. I wonder what he would have said about thousands of people keeping massive secrets over a period of years? He probably would have thought he was in an alternate universe. Which, when it comes to birthers and Sandy Hook conspiracists, he would be correct.

After a time, the only way to deal with these deluded beings is to point and laugh.
I used to point and laugh when I watched the dogs chase their tails in outrage, now I just shake my head and wonder what on earth is wrong with those dogs.

That will usually elevate your status in a police state of violence backed persuasion.

You can earn a few pats on the head for that.

It's called tribalism.

And delusion and hysteria will earn you a pat on the head from those of us who do not buy into ridiculous conspiracy theories. I used to advise getting help, but conspiracists like their delusions, and are loathe to part with them, so there's nothing left but to feel sorry for the poor saps and leave them to their fantasies.

Then you haven't really looked hard enough.

More like he decided what he believed first, then went looking for "proof" to support his preconceived conclusion. That's how conspiracists operate.

Have you ever come across a state sponsored delusion into which you haven't bought?

Have you ever proven one of your conspiracy theories is in truth factual?

Is there proof that Sandy Hook happened the way the media and the redacted reports told us it did? No.

Just entertaining the possibility of a conspiracy is incredibly disrespectful to those who lost their lives.
