A high school student in Duluth, Georgia has been suspended from school for one year after he was caught on surveillance camera hugging a teacher.

17-year-old Sam McNair won’t be able to graduate on time and will be forced to forfeit a full athletic scholarship because of the incident that school officials say violated their sexual harassment policy.

What were the years when liberals forced hugging as a trend?

When did it end?

Guess we're back to shrugs, now.

Seems we went from rug rats to hug rats, and now to, drug rats.

Hypathetically,

"The surveillance video shows McNair walking up behind his teacher, wrapping his arms around her, and hugging her with his head behind her neck. The teacher claims that McNair’s cheeks and lips gently touched the back of her neck and her cheek, but McNair says that’s not true."

Sounds about right.

The liberals will whine about this instance because the kid is black and they can cry racism while still calling the 6 year old white kid who kissed a girl's hand a sexual predator.

Huh? No idea what you said here.

While I think what he did was uncalled for, it did cross the line, I don't think he should be stripped of his scholarship or suspended for a year. Suspended for a bit, sure, but not a year.

Depends on the back story. If the teacher had previously told the student not to touch her......well, the punishment sounds justified.

And the 6 year old boy who got "charged" with sexual harassment. From what I have read, this kid had been continually harassing a little girl classmate and had been told to knock it off by various school personnel. I mean, what are they supposed to do, ignore a behavior that is very problematic for the little girl??

Judging from the teacher's reaction, I think there is something more to this than what is being told.

It's a case of "he said, she said" …… I saw the video, it wasn't a simple 'hug' - he wrapped his arms around her and she was struggling and pushed him away. These guys need to understand what "No" means. He hasn't lost a scholarship - his Mother said the "chance" at a scholarship. Big Difference.

As for the kid who did the hand kissing - we had a problem with a 5 year old kid the year my grand-daugher was in a kindergarten class. He harassed her constantly, he stole her jacket a couple of times and some other stuff out of her back-pack. He was obsessed with her. It was weird.

Sounds like it was not wanted attention and he either made a mistake or unwanted advances from what teacher said.
