The longer King Obama avoids joining his own signature law, the more people will perceive him as an elitist, and not subject to the same laws as ordinary citizens. Of course if Obama actually knew anything about the American culture, which he obviously does not, he might be able to comprehend that it is not a good plan to come off as an elitist to the American public.
He's the POTUS. All POTUS's have had White House doctors.

The White House doctor has an office inside the White House. The location of his or her medical unit plays an important role in keeping the President of the United States healthy. He or she also oversees a staff which is typically composed of five military physicians, five nurses, five physician assistants, three medics, three administrators and one IT Manager. The White House Physician is metaphorically the "shadow of the President" because he or she is always close at hand whether the President is at the White House, overseas, on the campaign trail, or aboard presidential plane Air Force One. The Physician to the President protects the president's health and may also perform emergency surgery.

Here's another flash for ya...The POTUS gets his own security team too.

Long-shot legal challenges to health care law abound
Well, even the title you posted called them long shots, but okay.

When the President creates a bill requiring everyone to have their own security team, or pay a tax, your posting will hold relevance to the discussion.

I understand that. Which is why I said it was nothing more the PR. Congress critters have also always had their own taxpayer subsidized health care insurance. Yet Alaska's entire congressional delegation signed up for the abomination known as "ObamaCare" and paid triple the premiums they were paying under the taxpayer subsidized plan.

It has absolutely nothing to do with their actual health care, and everything to do with demonstrating to the voting public that they are not above the law they mandate on EVERY citizen. No US citizen is above the law, not Congress critters, and not Presidents. That is all this symbolic act is suppose to represent. However, it clearly is a concept that Obama is not familiar.
