This is my favorite quote from the article in which one of the Christian activist explains why they're doing what they're doing:
“What we’re hoping that it’s possible that if we as Christians show our love and support for our atheist brothers and sisters that maybe, maybe they might be more tolerant toward Christian values"
Apparently censoring the atheists' display in protest is what she considers love and support of atheists.
Reminds me of the Halloween parade in Lebanon Pa. a few years back. Two local atheists felt they had to berate Christians and Moslems for their ridiculous belief in the afterlife and ghosts and witchcraft. Just to protest the stupidity of celebrating a backwards holiday like Halloween. So they dressed up as a zombie Pope and a zombie Mohammed and participated in the town parade.
Of course, Christians were SO intolerant when they heckled and threatened them. The funny part was when an irate moslem gentleman assaulted the man dressed as zombie Mohammed. Its probably still on Youtube.
Same with the guy who displayed a rebel flag at that Nascar race. You set out to offend people so don't be shocked when you're met in kind or **** somebody off enough to try to make you stop.
Yeah sort of like Atheist groups that demand no prayer at football games ben though the absolute vast majority of citizens have no issue with it.

Demanding decorations that have been displayed at courthouses, municipal buildings and schools for over a century must be banned because a very few people don't want to see it.
That tolerance is a 2 way street.
