Is Pittsburg even comparable fiscally. Was it ever really bankrupt and sought protection from creditors? No I think Pittsburg just got to low not bankrupt.Cool doesn't pay the bills; industry does that creates jobs and keeps or draws people.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, for which Harrier has an affinity towards, given that Pennsylvania is the birthplace of the U.S Constitution and Rocky, and the resting place of the heroes aboard United Flight 93 on 9/11/01.
Harrier would do the same when he visits Detroit, as he does in any major city, including here in Los Angeles(which is a real city, unlike Detroit), but you gun grabbers always refer to us 2nd Amendment supporters as "tough guys".

Baltimore and Philadelphia have or have had whole neighborhoods of ruin, but no other major city approaches Detroit's destruction. Maybe NYC came close during the crack epidemic, but it got better.

Conservatism as a solution?? For one, it is responsible for tinkle-down supply-side economics, which allowed bankers to crash the economy while rewarding them with bonuses for the deed, force middle-class taxpayer bailouts, ruin our country for the despised working class, and gut our cities of manufacturing as well as any other jobs which could be outsourced. If your ilk had gotten their way, we would never have fought the Revolution, and we would be groveling at the bottom of the global heap along with the poorest third-world countries. Thanks to the neanderthal conservative mindset, this race-to-the-bottom is in motion as we speak.

You see, conservatives by definition are not creative, and therefore don't have the acumen to solve problems. That's why we hear no constructive solutions from them - only feeble, empty, platitudes like Limbaugh's and yours.
Lacking in ingenuity, the only thing they can do is seek-and-destroy things they don't like. They can identify problems, whine and bluster about them, then leave the solutions to someone else.
That's the sum total of conservative governance - case in point, your current Congress which has no clue about how to grow the country, our cities, or anything else - but they sure know what they want to destroy.
