There has been little if any condemnation of the Islamic terrorist attack in Russia carried by by Chechen jihadists coming from the Obozo administration. At the same time, Obozo has sided with Islamic sharia rebels in Syria and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Obama had wanted to send US troops to Syria to fight alongside the jihadist sharia rebels there. He has also criticized the Egyptian government for its crackdown on the Muslim terrorists there too.

Rumors of Obozo's past aside, does the support for Islamic fanaticism trouble you? Or do you think that Assad is so bad that even an Islamic state that violates bedrock liberal sensibilities like feminism and gay marriage would be preferable?

And it IS ironic how in the past, America was a conservative Christian nation and the Soviet Union was an atheist, socialist nation. Now Russia is a conservative Christian country that is fighting against Islamic terrorism and gay marriage and the US is becoming increasingly atheist and socialist.

It troubles me and also amazes me that his supporters are ok with it.

Dude, I don't want to go there, but you seem very insecure in your posts, almost like you have a compelling need for the right wing power structure to accept you. I feel kind of bad, actually.

Anyway, most of the Islamic world is so messed up beyond repair that the only thing Americans can do is be supportive of humanity. I know there are some people that believe in it there. I really don't know what else we can do without looking like total jerks.

He is on vacation. Let Putin handle his own affairs. Why would you need Obama to make a statement?

I see no support for Islamic fundamentalists. What I do see is the continued constant paranoia of the right.

It will bother me more when Putin slaughters Islamic terrorists after the Olympic games and Obama condemns it.

Please explain how Romney or other Republican leader would have acted differently in Syria or Egypt. Which side would they support?

BTW: You obviously missed these headlines: White House condemns terrorist attacks in Russia & US condemns Russian suicide bombing

White House condemns terrorist attacks in Russia
http://thehill.com/blogs/defcon-hill...uicide-bombing

"The U.S. government has offered our full support to the Russian government in security preparations for the Sochi Olympic Games, and we would welcome the opportunity for closer cooperation for the safety of the athletes, spectators, and other participants."

You mean the slaugher would be overshadowed and diminished by Obama's concern?

You lost me when you resorted to childish name calling. Obozo, really?

I hardly see this as support for Muslim extremists, but I want to focus on what you said at the end.

While it's true, Russia has become more Christian conservative (note the social instability they've had recently) but what you say about America is mostly inaccurate. More atheist? Hardly. An overwhelming majority of Americans are Christian, or at the very least, believe in God (can't be an atheist and believe in God can you?). Perhaps atheism is being more accepted in our society, which one would think love and acceptance would be in abundance in a Christian nation, but they never are, which adorable.

More socialist? Perhaps more accepting of socialist policy, but this is hardly news. It's been going on long before your little 'rise of atheism' thing. What do you think social security is? That's wealth redistribution, which is socialism. Apparently it's good socialism, because the right doesn't seem to mind it. Socialist policies have been around for a long time, the modern ones are opposed, much like social security was when it was introduced.

I've paid less attention to Syria than I probably should've been, but here's what I'll say about Egypt. They became a democracy, and we were happy. They elected a leader, and we were happy. Then we found he was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, and we were ok when he got removed by military force, despite the fact that he had yet to actually do anything wrong. Now, I find democracy simple. I don't consider military removal of leaders to be a democratic value.
