With single-payer, there's zero paperwork, zero red tape, zero out of pocket expenses and zero hoops to jump through.

You don't know the meaning of communism. I lived behind the Iron Curtain.

While:

Welfare for multi-generations of same family
EBT cards
Food Stamps
Social Security
Medicare
Medicaid
Veteran's Assistance
Bail out of Banking institutions
Cel-phones and minutes for Welfare mommas
Bail outs of Private enterprises deemed to big to fail
Quantitative easing manipulation of markets

all of the above achieved through redistribution of public funds ie: taxpayer money does not constitute support for communism under your flawed surmisal?

Haar, given the example you've chosen to indicate a support for communism; you're more communist than most "communist" countries!

Nice job Doltocrats!!!!!!!!!!

The reality is there are definite ways to lower the cost of health care. Husseincare is not about healthcare......just another power grab by Big Brother.

If you got together a group of true professionals in healthcare and healthcare-related fields....they REALLY could come up with ways to make HC more cost efficient and effective. But this would NEVER, EVER happen.......so many special interests would scream bloody murder, sue and do everything in their power to protect their gravy-train.

It's only a matter of time before insurance becomes a relic of the stone age, which it rightfully should. There's absolutely no need to pay a middle man billions of dollars a year just so that they can reject you for health care and tell doctors what to do. Insurance and all of the overhead with running hospitals like mega corporations is one of the biggest reasons why health care in the US costs so much.

"let's also thank Republicans for coming up with a better alternative, eh?'

Herein lies the problem. The dems manufactured a crisis when there wasn't one.

So, instead of trying to take care of the 10 million, the REAL number, uninsured, they decided to "overhaul" the entire system. Typical reactions for liberal politicians.
