I posted a thread tonight. It was deleted a few minutes ago. So, do you trust the government to set a standard for TV shows? Or is anything OK? Do you really want someone censoring what you can see? Like China? Or more like the US? Everything is OK until I don't agree with it, then it is most certainly not OK.

So it is ok with you for kids to watch sleaze? Just put anything on tv for entertainment... oh yes, and there are liberal parents who don't care what their children watch because they are having sex with them... and some videotape it for their own enjoyment.. it is called child pornography.

Actually its parental indifference. Parent your kids and monitor what they watch. You whine about big government but really don't mean it. Its pretty simple. But in this case conservatives want to pass the parenting on to the government, go figure. If you dont like TV, dont pay for cable. Are you really that stupid? I know all of my kids friends, teachers, and their parents. I know what is or is not allowed in their houses, and do not allow my child to go to peoples houses that I think will allow him to do things that I do not agree with. Again, it's called parenting.

They complain about the "nanny state" yet that's exactly what they are asking for. So the government shouldn't tell us what not to eat, but should tell us what not to watch. Just so I have that right.
