There have been countless times when scientific explanations at a given time could not adequately account for certain phenomena. Scientists' response was not to conclude that a higher intelligence was responsible. Scientists refined their theories, experimented more, went down various paths of discovery, and new explanations were found that did account for such things.
Yet, ToE fails to address the origins of life on this planet.
Are you up to the challenge? HistorianDude has already FAILED. How about you?
Refute the material presented in the book. Show your work.
I've already refuted it. Inferring a paranormal intelligence that designed life, based on a failure to explain a phenomenon from "natural law", is neither scientific nor logical. It's quite primitive, similar to earlier people's explanations that gods were responsible for volcanic eruptions.
Your cowardice in advancing any of the claims in the book is showing. All you have now is bluster. And you've failed to respond to several of my previous requests for more detail.
You'll only deflect. You won't refute, as challenged. You won't even attempt a refute.
Prove it. Pick what you consider to be Pullen's single strongest argument, restate it in your own words, and watch. It's a wonderful opportunity for you. I am bemused that you have suddenly grown so timid.
You need to tell him which argument you want him to refute. You can't expect him to refute every argument in the book in a forum post.
He can do it in several posts. And if you're so interested in science, why let him deflect? If he understands the material, let him refute it, and show his work. What are you all afraid of? Being as exposed as the emperor wearing no clothes? Hmmm???
I don't see any of your work refuting the molecular biology, computational biochemistry, chemical thermodynamics, and information theory analyses presented in the book. Let's see it!
