She was explaining how it would destroy more families and domestic disputes would rise. She even wrote of past experiences natives had with the introduction of alcohol. The tribal elders shot her down and said it was a way to provide jobs!

As long as one can make $$$ officials welcome it, when they can't all of a sudden they're concerned what it will do to the people.

Their tribe, their culture, their Reservation, their Nation, they can do it THEIR way, within THEIR borders.
The same goes for ALL the reservations in ALL states.
Except for travel through the Reservations on Federal and State highways, I avoid them. When traveling through, I don't stop, except for traffic lights and stop signs.
