I have empty shotgun shells all over my house that I keep for reloading when it comes time for me to go Quail hunting. This is absurd and frankly it is downright scary that this could happen in America like Tucker Carlson stated. Isn't it amazing that the U.S. Constitution is non-existent in our nations capitol? This guy has had to hire an attorney and has already had eight court hearings with the ninth coming up. All this for an inoperable empty shotgun shell he had on his desk as a souvenir.

Here is another link that tells the story rather thoroughly as well.

MILLER: D.C. businessman faces two years in jail for unregistered ammunition, brass casing - Washington Times

Welcome to liberal police state America.

Notice how the MSM is avoiding covering this blatant violation of Mr. Witaschek's constitutional rights?

The article says that cops used a battering ram to bash down the bathroom door. Seriously, where did this battering ram appear from because it's not in their cars....back pocket maybe And if the streets in dc were shut down for blocks there would have been holy hell to pay from computers and definitely on the local news. Funny how we didn't hear about any of this. I think maybe the events happened differently from what has been reported here.

That link is full of pop-ups and such; avoid.

Note that the article was from October 2013, stating that the trial was for November 4th. What happened?

This took place in 2012, it was all over the news when it took place. Are you really claiming this didn't happen?

Watch the video.

It is a current interview.

The next hearing is in February.

Honestly, I didn't even see the date. I thought we were talking about it happening now. Why the heck are we talking about something that happened in 2012.

Sigh...

Did you not watch the video?

There have been 8 hearings and a 9th will take place on February 11th.

It is a current issue.

Your question is like asking why we were talking about the death of a 17 year old boy in July 2013 when the boy died in February 2012.
