Notice you left this part out:

I remember a time when journalism was a noble profession.

I don't remember a time, however, when politics were.

So, 69% of Republicans are happy to eat up right wing propaganda and too dumb/gullible/uninformed to realize what they're being fed. How is this surprising?

Just because a bunch of low information viewers believe it doesn't make it true.

FOX is the only fair and balanced network out there that doesn't merely parrot the regime's propaganda. Congratulations to FOX!
There seems to be a subtle difference between the link title and the thread title, but I just can't put my finger on it...

There is plenty of good journalism out there. You have to know where to look; it's a little harder to find these days.

No one should trust any of the 24hr news channels, they are purely for entertainment purposes only, like Bravo.

I disagree. Rachel Maddow does some very in-depth investigatory journalism. She's unraveled some of the very complicated issues surrounding Chris Christie. Now, she doesn't do sensational, so her stories are not always the most entertaining, but they certainly are well-researched.

And blatantly left wing. That's not journalism, that's opinion.
