For a movement that rants about being colorblind and against affirmative action, it sure seems hypocritical to pick a spokesperson based on their skin color.

But I wouldn't expect anything else from them

This is rich. If anyone exploits minorities to promote their agenda, it's the rich, white puppet masters who control the Democrat Party. Anyone minority who doesn't voluntarily submit to the Democrat Party and allow themselves to be their puppet is subject to racist attacks from so-called tolerant, progressive liberals.

It is not 'based on their skin color,' in fact it is just the opposite--it is based on ideology. It is you libs who think that skin color and ideology must go hand in hand, in lockstep. We conservatives want a separation of race and ideology. We want people to make up their minds w/ regard to ideas and voting irrespective of race. You stand in opposition.

Or look at the republican white males in this forum calling Michelle Obama "a disgusting pig", or look at them attack black women who get welfare and call them "freeloading pigs."

Just look at Mason3000's above statements, he speaks of slavery, plantations, Massa (the slave master) and chitlins."

Any black person who wants to join these worship the rich racists is mentally sick.
Wow. So you really think black Americans are incapable of succeeding, because of events that happened over 150 years ago? You don't think very highly of black Americans, do you.

Just little news flash - becoming dependent on government programs never improved anyone's life.

The left have used the black vote for decades as nothing more then canon fodder, but when you point this out, you're a racist, when blacks stray away from the liberal plantation, you're an Uncle Tom, a "sellout". When you people don't even know the real meaning of Uncle tom :

Uncle Tom : is an anti-slavery novel by American author Harriet Beecher Stowe

" Stowe's melodramatic story humanized the suffering of slavery for White audiences by portraying Tom as a Christlike figure who is ultimately martyred, beaten to death by a cruel master because Tom refuses to betray the whereabouts of two women who escape from slaver."

The reason you people are so quick to call someone an Uncle Tom without even knowing the real meaning to that phrase is because you people have been lead around like sheep and been told what to think. You don't even know what Uncle Tom original and real meaning was but quick to call a black person that if they have the nerve not to vote the way you want them to.

I mean, for the left to take Uncle Tom, a figure that meant anti-slavery and chirstlike, and twist it around to mean that any black person that votes for the other side as a "race traitor" or "sellout" is pretty racist itself. But those who scream the loudest about racism are usually the biggest racist themselves.

But of course when the right tries to be inclusive with minorities, not just pander them with welfare but actually vote them into office :

Minority candidates ride GOP wave to groundbreaking wins , " The Republican wave produced groundbreaking results for minority candidates, from Latina and Indian-American governors to a pair of black congressmen from the Deep South."

Well, that is just the right using them as puppets. It's much more meaningful to just promise them handouts and welfare in the form of table scraps and crumbs in exchange for votes. That way you can ensure "those ******s voting Democrat for the next 200 years," -LBJ, without actually having to do anything meaningful for them for decades on end. And despite voting left for decades to the tone of a 90+ percent, they are still complaining about "oppression". Of course when you point this out they dismiss it if not outright get hostile with you.

So I say screw it, if after decades of voting for the left and they are still complaining about the "man", then let them. If they want to be used as nothing more then a voting bloc, then that is their right. You are not going to break up a decades long, generational voting trends so I say God bless em and move on.
