The new evidence wasn't aquired until after the election.
And I'm sure the fascist dictator socialist Muslim American hater Obama just let this guy steal ground breaking information.
People really believe this stuff. What happened when Beck or Trump had earth shattering info about Obama? Oh right, those were publicity stunts just like this. The political equivalent of the National Enquirer.
. And the STATE of HAWAII has repeatedly asserted, publicly and for the record, that their records show that President Obama was born in Hawaii. That's not an assumption. State officials with access to those records state, unequivocally, that President Obama was born in Hawaii.
But you have to remember that the Hawaii Dept of Health could have records that are based on fraud. You have to realize that Stanley Ann could have sent in a self-attesting written affidavit (as required for all non-hospital births for which birth certificates were sought) and typed up by a clerk as a statement of facts regarding the baby. It probably was something like this:
It would also explain the fact that an official of the Hawaiian Dept. of Health stated two weeks before the surprise appearance of the long form Certificate of Live Birth pdf on April 27th, 2011 that what was seen in their archive was half-written and half typed. That “sworn” statement by Obama’s mother was treated as the self-attested truth given by an adult American citizen in the HDoH response to a telephone inquiry from the State Department related to Obama Sr. and his Visa status (which furnished them the impression that Obama Jr. was born in Hawaii), but may not have fulfilled DoH requirements for corroboration of the stated “facts” from other persons or records as needed for the issuance of a birth certificate.
Her affidavit may have stated that her son was born at home in Hawaii, or it may have stated that he was born in Vancouver. She may have told the truth that he was born in Vancouver but without realizing that even though she was an American, it did not necessarily follow that her son was, -which was the case since she was several months too young for her citizenship to pass to her foreign-born child by law. So Hawaii most likely took the self attested birth information from Stanley Ann (or the grandparents) as the gospel truth and they are just spouting off the information that they have in their records even though it may not be the factual true facts of his birth.

Very few people have first-hand knowledge of another's birth. I know where my brother was born, but I wasn't there to witness his birth. Childbirth tends to be a personal, private event. That would be why we rely on states to keep records. And the STATE of HAWAII has repeatedly asserted, publicly and for the record, that their records show that President Obama was born in Hawaii. That's not an assumption. State officials with access to those records state, unequivocally, that President Obama was born in Hawaii.
Not only is it not silly to rely on states to keep such records, it's part of the Constitution of the United States, the bedrock of our judicial system.
Your animosity to this President is duly noted. But it is not grounds to challenge the State of Hawaii's records, or grounds to challenge those who refer to those records.
Again, I couldn't care less where he was born.
But, and this is for others to pursue, when you have an individual such as Barack Obama, who tends to lie as naturally as most others draw a breath, it stands to reason that just about anything having to do with the man should be taken with a grain of salt.

You think Obama is the first politician in the history of human civilization to figure out that lying works to his advantage?
It's pretty silly to make an assumption like that without first hand information.
as mentioned before this is an absolutely ridiculous statement. the whole point of states maintaining vital records is so we don't have to "assume" the pertinent facts of a person's birth ( the three people i know at my birth are dead and i can't attest to the facts of my own birth ). here's a list of documentation and supporting information confirming the facts of obama's birth:
besides the actual birth certificates, 1961 birth index and confirmation from HI health dept officials we have two contemporaneous newspaper announcements and two state dept agent memos ( 1961 and 1967 ) corroborating the facts.

AND YOU have to remember that so far you've offered no reasons why Ms Dunham would have committed fraud rather than simply and routinely applied for citizenship for her son. YOU are the one positing fraud and conspiracy. People don't commit fraud and conspiracy for NO reason. And there is simply NO reason proffered by birthers for such a conspiracy.

I wonder if Trump's team of crack investigators - who "can't believe what they're finding" - are enjoying another winter in Hawaii?
