Just be sure you understand that a vote for a third party candidate is a vote for the Democratic candidate. I made that mistake when I voted for Ross Perot and helped put Clinton in office.

You didn't make a mistake if you voted your principles. A vote for the lesser of two evils is still evil. A vote for party over what you believe to be best for the country is the mistake and that is what the GOP did with the debt vote.
