The surviving alleged suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing which took place on 4/15/13 is scheduled to go on trial this coming November.

Judge sets November trial date for Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev - News Local Massachusetts - Boston.com

This alleged Muslim extremist terrorist may get his just due if he did indeed carry out the bombing.

If found guilty he will be sentenced to life in a U.S. federal prison.

That means that he will have to wait for what his brother Tamerlan may have hoped to have found - 72 virgins in paradise.

He is facing the possibility of the death penalty. I believe the news said that he can avoid the death penalty by pleading guilty though.

You are correct.

Feds seek death penalty for Boston bombing suspect Tsarnaev - CNN.com

However, his defense attorney is likely to bring up the fact that he was not "Mirandaized" before being questioned.

Who knows what kind of jury they might find - they may be better off just seeking life in Florence, Colorado.

He is so young. Spending the rest of his life in prison would be torture for him. If I were him I would welcome the death penalty. Death is such an easy way out though.

It would have been best if the bombings had never occurred, but if the brothers Tsarnaev had to do their dirty deeds, it would have been best to wait for spring 2014, when the ice and snow in the eastern U.S. will have melted and potentially flood Watertown, increasing the likelihood that Dzhokhar could have gotten away in the boat.
