Looks like just another excuse to delay a critical problem, letting immigration reform wait another year is absurd. The senate proposal had a path to citizenship in 13 years, what is the republican proposal, never?
The BS meter is pretty much off the scale with the "we can't trust enforcement", if that's the case do they want until 2016, 2020 or just wait for the next time they win a presidential election.

With hope for immigration reform all but dead in the House
of Representatives, immigration activists vowed Tuesday to move the fight from
Capitol Hill to congressional races nationwide and press President Barack Obama
to unilaterally curb deportations.
House Speaker John Boehner's announcement last week that his caucus' lack of
trust in Obama to enforce immigration laws made action on new legislation
unlikely this year has been taken by many as the death knell for immigration
reform in the 113th Congress.

Obama has 2 years left and any legislation will take time to pass and implement. Republicans control the House of Reps - Boehner indicates that he doesn't trust them and has no optimism that Republicans will gain the Senate in 2014 or the Presidency in 2016.
We just need to close off the borders and continue deporting illegals.
I have a plan for immigration reform!
We get the list of people who have been waiting to legally immigrate to the US and we let them in immediately provided they find at least two people who came here illegally and turn those illegals into INS.
Once the illegals are deported, then, and only then, will the lawful immigrants be allowed to take a job from an American.
We just need to close off the borders and continue deporting illegals.
Yes, we do need immigration reform. I personally have friends who are illegals and have been contributing to this country for more than 10 years with no crime violations. I want them to be able to have a path to citizenship.

Exactly! What is being proposed is amnesty. What is being reformed? Nothing! Should we repeat Reagan's amnesty of 1986 where it was promised that the borders would be secured and they weren't? Fool me once..... This time around there are quadruple the number of illegals here and we have 23 million Americans out of work. Any American who supports this I question their loyalty to our country.
