I wonder, how many people are aware of the fact, of Genetically Modified Foods?
I've thought about Cancer for years, and everytime I hear on TV someone who calls himself/herself a specialist on Cancers and Smoking, I could vomit, b/c I know it isn't true....
There are less people smoking now, in the United States then ever before in history?????
If you go into Children's hospitals, and cancer centers, there are MORE people sitting there waiting for treatments of Cancers and rare disease.
I used to think all our pressure treated lumbers were an additive to why cancer is growing....pressure treated lumber is in fact toxic...and everytime it rains, the chemicals in pressure treated lumber leaches into our ground water.
Then you have your everyday accidents at chemical plants you never hear about, b/c our country is broke, so, our infostructure does not only include making repairs on roads and bridges, but also on everything in this country which works. Why do you think the last oil spill in the gulf happened? B/c the company wanted to save money, so the inspection company didn't do they're job correctly. Hmmmm
Then you also have your vets, getting more and more expensive, (and this is just a small illustration) I'm going back 25-30 years....when my first dog got cancer. I've always been a thinker, and I remembered our teacher telling us, about nuclear testing in the US...and how long chemicals stay in the ground...and that is true, then the grass grows, the cows eat the grass and walla, now the milk is loaded with nuclear waste from all those nuclear tests way back when? Also, all the processed dog food, and alas, fast forward to today, all the shots we give our dogs, the heartworm pills, the Flea and tick preventative....they are ALL Chemicals! Any medicine you or your dog takes are chemicals....and you, alone are responsible for not doing your homework. Doctors push drugs, period.
So, we've been creating Genetically modified foods for years....and the FDA has been passing it?
Did anyone watch the Dallas Buyers Club, that was a true story?
Has anyone asked themselves these questions when they watch the news or some joker talking about Cancer and smokers. "Smoking causes cancer".
Now I'm certain there are some cancers that are caused by smoking, however, I do not believe, cancer is caused by all smokers and 2nd hand smoke, that is rediculous. But you still hear, on the News, "Tests show that smoking causes cancer". Yet on the same news station a while later I heard them say, which IS true, "There are less people in the U.S. smoking today then ever before!" Why, b/c the media scared the bejesus out of people, so much so, that they started hating smokers, and a whole lot of smokers quit. I mean, if your a smoker, some people hate smokers so much, it goes way beyond the norm.
So when you hear the News say, "Tests show that smoking causes cancer." Ask yourself
How many years were these tests performed.
Where were the tests performed...
Who performed these tests
How long were these tests performed
How many people were these tests performed on
How old were the people
So, what I'm saying, is do your homework, please people, wake up and google, Genetically Modified Foods....did you know that 90 percent of our corn crops have been Genetically Modified.? now, take it one step further, do you know how many foods are made from corn...
I've been in these forums for years stating, educate yourselves and stop believing what your told, b/c it ain't true.
Cancer today, is a huge, money making business.....
OMG, I could go on and on and on, but it is time you people all wake up, and smell the roses....I mean it....It is time! Please, with the internet out there and having privy to all this information, there is no reason why we should remain stagnated intellectually on this subject.
Please educate yourself and stop accepting information you hear on the news, as fact...

I believe Cancers are caused by a huge amount of things, as we all know, we all carry the cancer gene in our bodies, so what triggers it?

The purpose of this thread is to bring awareness to people, and just how many of us are fast asleep in our own lives.
Any chemical that we put into our bodies, or our pets bodies could be toxic....and look at the huge business vets have become....and how many of us know, just what shots our dogs should have and how often they should have them, or are we trusting the vet? I know for a fact that a rabies shot should be once and done, but my vet was giving a rabies shot to my dogs every single year????????
Now, lets explore all the shots and medicines which are also chemicals that our children get?
Our parents used to tell us, don't take medications unless you absoulely have to...and they were right, a chemical is toxic...and as far as other chemicals, no one knows how long they stay in the ground. A lab techinician/biologist told my husband that years ago. Now we have auto biotechnology....

Apparently this has been going on for many years....my sister told me about this a few weeks ago....I dismissed it, didn't think much of it, then I saw an article about feeding deer corn which could be harmful b/c our corn is genetically altered...and I read on....and it makes a whole lot of sense....
so what do you think the effect of this is?
