Obama Skips National Security Team Meeting on Russia, Ukraine | The Weekly Standard

According to Time magazine's Zeke Miller, Obama skipped the meeting. "Obama did not attend the meeting, but WH official says he has been briefed by Susan Rice and his national security team," says Miller.

Obama had to prepare for his next appearance on The View. Do you really expect him to have time for a National Security Meeting? Also, March Madness coming up, he's got to prepare his bracket.

This president doesn't, that's true. But technically, the president is the Chair of the National Security Counsel and most past presidents have attended these meetings.

This wasn't a National Security Counsel meeting. Its was his National Security team who meet regularly, hash it out, and report to him with with updates and options.
