dr w. ames curtright, chairman of "ames eagles" that claims to represent 40 conservative groups in the northwest and has hosted events featuring tom delay, todd palin, jerome corsi and herman cain, is trying to unite the oregon republican and tea parties...... with birtherism being one of the rallying points:

"Many of us are "birthers," Curtright says in his email. "We are still wondering why a President born in Kenya, with a father born in Kenya that we think is a Muslim, bless his little heart, is not being investigated by an oversight committee."

The Plan for Uniting Oregon Republicans: Tea Party Leader's Manifesto Includes Examining Obama's Heritage

i'll be curious to see if anything more comes of this ( most likely there won't be ) but i do believe we will see more birther demands coming from the tea party as we get closer to the mid-terms causing rifts with mainstream republicans ( and possibly dividing the vote ).

What a perfect Tea Party plan! After you turn off the majority of voters with your strict, rigid, regressive, unreasonable, never-compromise-even-when-it's-in-your-own-best-interests modus operandi, you can finish up by turning off everyone else with a brain by going full-on birther.

I sincerely hope more Tea Party groups throughout the country follow their brilliant lead.

i think as we get closer to the midterms, and the birthers don't receive the satisfaction they're expecting from sheriff arpaio and co, we'll see more birther demands directed at congresssional candidates from various tea party organizations.

Senator HRC gave birth to the birthers and so far she hasn't abandoned the belief by a clear statement of 'evolving' to not believe.

So the T-party and HRC are kindred spirits in that regard and infact the dems are talking about including TC as the basis for their expanded birther movement.

The country is healing and HRC is the instrument!

This has been repeated so many times you must be covering up the screen when it comes about.

Hillary did not start it, a blogger and supporter did...and has since recanted birtherism. This is very well known, and posted on C-D quite frequently. This kind of willful ignorance is astonishing. In the article as well it also links to the news story where Hilary and Bill have said it is insane.

oof.

you constantly post this myth then ignore the response. so, yet again......

HRC and/or her campaign has never said anything remotely close to being an endorsement of birtherism. there were a small group of clinton supporters, the PUMAs, who embraced birtherism early on but there involvement was predated by months by the origin of birtherism. even the first birther articles at WND predate the PUMA's involvement ( the PUMAs, thru phil berg, do have the distinction of filing the first of the 220 failed birther lawsuits ). for more see:

A claim so idiotic and comprehensively refuted that one can only pity the clueless nincompoops who keep posting it.

I hope Oregon Republicans unite by pushing this groups of Tea Baggers and Birthers out of their party.
